Pandora, also known as Saturn XVII, is a natural satellite of the outer planet, Saturn. Pandora was discovered sometime in October 1980 by the crew of the Voyager 1 probe mission.

Surface Features[]

The surface of Pandora has not yet been studied, but it is believed to be icy in some fashion. The surface of Pandora is more heavily cratered than the neighboring moon Prometheus. It is estimated that Pandora has at least two large craters larger than 30 kilometers (19 miles) in diameter. Pandora also has ridges and grooves present on it's surface. Some describe Pandora looks like a potato.
